Long ago, in the enchanted isles of Albion, humans attempted to control the divine by slaying numerous angels until they were punished by the heavens. Now, the Blight ravages Albion, crippling humans for their hubris. However, prophecy tells of The Savior King who will pull Excalibur from the first slain angel’s fallen figure and redeem humanity. One day, Arcturus, a blighted child from the outskirts of Camelot, retrieves the blade from the crumbling corpse, setting the wheels of fate into motion.
